Condition/Notes : Good. No DJ. The front red linen board has wear to edges with wear to corners, usage marks to edges, colour illustration in decorative surround of Indian hunters with wear to face. Back board plain red linen, wear to edges, bumps to corners, some light blistering of linen in places, slight marking face. Spine sunned to light grey, wear to top and tail, wear to edges, faded print. Front e/p blank with presentation label and handscript in ink, verso blank. fpp detached from top lh corner down 80mm, light foxing. Frontisplate with sepia illustration "In a short time they had bound our arms tightly with strips of hide". Title page facing with full details. Contents follow, Chapters I to XXIX, List of Illustrations with titles. Pages generally good, clean and undamaged with exception p97 which partly detached from bottom corner up 80mm and strain on binding between p272 and facing plate "Save him, Juan, save him!" Otherwise binding quite tight and fully intact.
