Condition/Notes : The front full colour printed board with illustration of Sindbad is in quite good condition, medium wear to edges, wear to corners and marking to face, but colours good. The back board is similar with wear to edges and bumps/wear to corners, marking to face. Illustrated with golden sun rays and "The Sunshine Series" in top rh quarter. The spine is dark green linen with faded black ink Title, Illustrated and Ward Lock & Co, wear to top and tail and light wear to edges. Front paste-down blank off-white, facing blank e/p with foxing, verso similar. pp with sub-title, verso list of The Sunshine Series to date and others in preparation. Frontisplate follows with full colour Aladdin and Genie. Title follows with full details, verso printer's details. Contents follows, verso List of Colour Plates with full details. Colour plate follows (p10) Grand Vizier saw Aladdin's wonderful palace...Pages mostly quite good with foxing in places and some general creasing/usage. Colour plates good. Some straining to the binding in places but intact. Blank back e/p with strain to bind between and p176 showing 2mm cloth bind but intact. Binding fairly tight and fully intact. Overall, a good volume with good, clean, undamaged colour plates.
