Condition/Notes : The plain dark olive green board has wear to edges and bumps to corners. Marking to face. Burgundy linen reinforced corners. Label attached centre with hand written titles of each issue under the collective heading "Dramas". This accounts for the apparently haphazard collection of issues in one volume. Back board similar with marking to face. Spine is burgundy linen with wear top and tail and some marking. Title "Dramas" on label in centre. Front paste-down and facing e/p both blank off-white with foxing. First issue follows - "Crime" No. 310, Vol. LII January 2nd. 1928 with colour cover. Two issues, 117 "Milestones" and 112 "The Hope" are missing the covers. All others complete. Medium gloss pages with many photographic illustrations and interesting topical advertising. A fascinating glimpse into life in 1928's West End. Condition of the pages is generally quite good but there are some marks and creasing in places and general usage. There are many ink stamps throughout stating "Stafford & Co. Limited, Pictorial and Letterpress Printers, Netherfield, Nottm.". Dusting to the edges. Binding quite tight and fully intact (except 2 front covers). Please view the images below :
