Condition/Notes : The impasto oil on canvas study of Der Schwarzwald is in good condition with good colour and no damage. The impressionist study depicts a typical Schwarzwald scene with hills and running stream and a group of houses in the valley. The painting is signed R. Seidel 69 in the lower lh corner and is stapled to a stretcher; the stretcher is faintly stamped EURAS - KEILRAHMEN DR. FR. SCHOENFELD & CO. An old label with 017 is attached to the top rh corner.
