Condition/Notes : Quite good. No DJ. The red linen front board is good with light wear edges, light bumps corners and light arking face. Black ink title. Back board similar but blank. Spine is sunned with light wear top and tail and black ink lettering. Front p/d and e/p with double world map quiz with animals in wrong locations (answers on p213). Verso e/p has handscript inscription to Pam dated 1947. Frontispiece follows with colour plate print of HRH The Princess Elizabeth from a painting by Dorothy Wilding which has good colour and good condition.Title facing; verso note from Susan French wishing Happy Christmas to her readers. Commences p3 with The Plunder of Peru and through to Index p216. Pages generally good with toning to edges and light usage. Well illustrated in black and white with plates in colour and black and white. Teddy Tail Calendar for 1948 p194-p197. Cross-word puzzles p208-p213 with four part completed in pencil.
