Condition/Notes : Quite good. The front orange and olive patterned board has medium wear to edges, bumps and wear to corners, some marking to face; 48mm split to linen down from top lh corner along spine edge but still firmly attached binding. Back board similar; 18mm split to linen down from top rh corner along spine edge and 42mm split to linen up from lower rh corner along spine edge but still firmly attached binding. Spine with same pattern, title, author and publisher. Fraying top and tail. Front p/d blank. Front e/p blank but with ink scribble to right centre. pp with title and embossed stamp "Stoke Bardolph, Near Nottingham" top rh corner. Frontisplate follows with black and white photo of Pergola with Virburnam plicatum by J.A. James; tissue guard, browned and with ink scribble to lower centre.
