Condition/Notes : Good. The graphite on paper drawing of a Scottish clachan with fishing boats and figures is in good condition with no marking or damage. There is no visible title or description to indicate the location. The drawing is signed John C. Howe in the lower rh corner adjacent to the black border line. The drawing is displayed within a slate coloured mount which is also in good condition. The standard ebonized frame is in good sound condition with light wear to the edges. Hardboard backing secured with pins and sealed with gummed framing tape. Framer's label attached lower centre "Alan Carter Gallery Original Oil Paintings, Watercolours and Limited Edition Prints. Carters (Catorham) Ltd. Picture Framing and Restoration" followed by addresses in Oxted and Godstone Surrey with phone numbers. (The Gallery and Workshop appear to have now ceased trading). OX 962 is written in pencil upper centre. Rings and hanging cord attached.

An interesting study which will benefit from identification of the location.
